FOUR WAYS TO STOP BEING BORING

FOUR WAYS TO STOP BEING BORING

Do you ever feel like you’re not interesting? Just exhausted of no one knowing your name and being known as “that kid”?  This my friend, this one's for you!

Okay first of all. You’re probably not boring...maybe just a little. Truth is, you’re just not showing the world how f*cking awesome you really are. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Seek to expand your knowledge on what interests you

Figure out what you like and learn more about it. Become an expert on what you like whether that be football, photography, fashion, whatever. If you are learning about something you love, it’ll make your time more useful and help you in the long run.

  2. Get firsthand experiences.
You want to be known as more than “that kid”? Go do something. Start your own business. Help people in your community. Volunteer. Be the best soccer player on the team. Literally all of these experiences will make you not only known but also someone who is creating change.

  3. Travel and talk to people that interest you
If you have the chance to travel, DO IT. Even if it’s just across the street to some place you’ve never been, try it. You never know what you’ll find. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Some places may look dead but could secretly be the most poppin’ club in the city. Don’t repeat the cycle by thinking that the people you don’t know are boring just because you don’t know them.

  4. Stay out of your comfort zone for a day...a week, a month.

Try new things. Stop f*cking thinking and just do it. Obviously don’t do something you clearly don’t want to do but have the courage to do something different for once. You’ll have new stories to tell while seeing different perspectives of life.

So...Ya. It’s very possible you suck and you’re boring. But it’s  also possible you just don’t paint your interests to everyone in the proper light. Becoming more interesting is simple. Just walk the opposite direction of the herd. Having the courage to do so is where the difficulty arises and it’s up to you to find the courage to do it.
